WHAT IS A TENTMAKER?

This leap comes from the biblical story of Paul. Although Paul was an apostle, he was also a tentmaker. He makes it very clear in scripture that it was his trade as a tentmaker that funded the ministry work he was doing for God. Paul understood that in order for the work to be done, he needed provision and he already had the skills to obtain the provision he needed.
We can learn so much from his delegation skills, focus, and sacrifice as a leaper.
As a natural tentmaker, you may often find yourself in situations where you are funding the ministry, business, or creative work God has given you as your career and your calling coexist in the same season. You don’t feel that leaving your career is what God is leading you to do but you know He often calls you to sacrifice your leisure time for His Kingdom agenda.
It can be difficult at times, especially when your career or job is demanding and hard. However, that is why you must use the same wisdom and strategy God gave Paul that helped him properly prepare, plan, and execute his leap, to take your own.
